The cowboys in the venue next door must’ve had FOMO with Gabrielle Grace and little image performing just a wall away.
She’s from Nashville, but she’s performing in Kansas. Indie-Folk artist Gabrielle Grace opened the show with a stellar performance. Her electric and lively tones brought the crowd together. Performing with Sam Cambell, Adam Elizarraz, and Jefferson Rinck (Drums, Guitar, and Bass respectively).
The four of them took sentimental music and brought the crowd together with their newly released ear-worm: No Harm Done (2026). The only gripe to be had was that we didn’t hear her play all night long.
little image makes big music. That’s the tagline. This underground alt-rockpop band has been going straight for ~10 years now. Jackson Simmons and Brandon Walters, supported by Sebastian (?) and Joey Sardella (Vocals, Bass, Drums, Guitar respectively). The supporting players come after the bands long-time drummer, Troy Bruner, announced his departure from the band.
Bittersweetly, the band continued to rock. They spun synth-forward beats into head banging—a modern boogie; and boy, did the crowd boogie—they performed hits from their newest album KILL THE GHOST (2026).
The crowd was electric. One moment that was exceptionally funny was when Jackson, the lead, jumped into the crowd; Personally, I was expecting something akin to a mosh pit to form. But in actuality, the crowd just formed a circle around him, smiling, until he went back on stage.
Albeit, a wonderful performance from both bands, setting the tone for a fantastic tour.
